Summer Medical Student Program (SMSP)

• In SMSP, medical students will be exposed to various psychiatric subfields and receive mentorship from psychiatric residents who can assist them through experiential advice on academic and professional goal setting. Participants will also receive learning and development opportunities and networking opportunities.

Summer Research Programs:

• Medical Student Summer Research Fellowship in Psychiatry at Columbia University

  • Students will be assigned to work with a research mentor while gaining broad exposure to a wide range of research opportunities in psychiatry. The program will provide a stipend of $5,600 for the 8-week research program.
